Please, explain

these things to me:


Koolaburra "Ankle-Cuff Thong Sandal"
for sale at $140USD here

If it's cold, why would you wear sandals?
If it's hot, why would you wear something with that lining?
I don't understand :(

    I think it has something to do with that line..if you want to be pretty you have to suffer or something :DD
