Para el Jueves

So, yesterday I told ya'll about a terrible experience ( the one involving a man and a pair of (f)UGGs)... I'm sure you were as traumatized as I was.
However, I also mentioned that I FINALLY wore that sheer Anne Klein blouse that I bought way back in November. It had been collecting dust (literally, yuck), so I decided to take it out of that miserable place that is otherwise known as My Closet. Yay!
Yay!

Top: thrifted Anne Klein ($10 USD, wuuu)
Jeans: Forever 21
SweaterVest: Zara
Coat: Forever 21
Booties: MARKET
Socks: Nine West
Hat: thrifted David & Young
Rings: Dillard's finds

PS. I took a horrible fall all the way down to the floor (with the chair) trying to get close ups of the booties ... that's why those photos of the shoes are so shitty, I gave up after the fall.
PD.

PPS. The boyfriend made me a twitter account ... I'm still getting the hang of it, though.
PPD.

I am a home-loving person. I used to be a big party animal, but that was only for my first three and a half semesters of college.
Then I just realized that I wasn't really meant to get drunk and whore around every weekend. It got too tiring.
Anyways, last night I went to a party and I tried Tinja's mini tutorial for the smoky eye (even though I used much lighter colors, because of the outfit).
I think it looked alright, and several people asked me if someone else did if for me, so maybe I did get it kind of right (:
And I was feeling so positive about today's game that I wore almost everything by Mexican designers/companies.
Now we'll have to wait until Brasil 2014 for another shot at the World Cup.

Yesterday was my first year "anniversary" with my boyfriend. I say "anniversary" because that word always makes me think of married couples, I don't know why.
We had a nice, quiet evening, because that's what we like to do: veg out in the couch in front of the T.V.
But of course, before that we went out for dinner. Wow.
That was a great restaurant we went to. If you are ever in Monterrey, Nuevo León, make sure you go to the El Lingote restaurant in Parque Fundidora's Horno 3.
Obviously there's a lot of other good restaurants, but the food here was exquisite (well, that is if you like steaks).

Oh, and btw, it rained while we were there, so when going back to the car we were completely soaked from head to toe (my shoes!!!!).
Then we got home and ate ice cream (:
And I'm not getting sick, yay!
